Invensys Operations Management Wins Control Magazine’s “Readers’ Choice” Awards for Safety/Emergency Shutdown Systems and SCADA Software

PLANO, TEXAS - Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the manufacturing and infrastructure operations industries, today announced that readers of Control magazine have selected Invensys Operations Management as “Overall Best in Control” for Safety/Emergency Shutdown. Readers also ranked Invensys as first choice in Supervisory Control Systems and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Software. These results are from the magazine’s recently completed annual Readers’ Choice survey.

Invensys safety and emergency shutdown solutions expanded industry leadership to include preference among users in the chemicals, electrical power generation, oil and gas extraction and petroleum refining industries. In addition, the survey noted that Invensys SCADA solutions were the preferred choice among oil and gas extraction and petroleum refining industry users. Readers from across a variety of industries also gave Invensys high rankings in the HMI Software and Data Acquisition System competency categories.
