COURSE DESCRIPTION

InTouch 10.1 Part 1 (previously Fundamentals of Application Development) is a 4 day instructor-led class that provides lectures and hands-on labs designed to teach a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of InTouch 10.1 software.

The purpose of this course is to give you the knowledge necessary to develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) system for your specific plant floor environment using basic elements of the Wonderware visualization module.

OBJECTIVE

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Create an IDE-managed InTouch application representing actual plant floor operations.
• Establish communication with I/O aware programs; configure and troubleshoot I/O and DA Servers.
• Historize and analyze plant floor data
• Retrieve data from external applications and a variety of PLCs

AUDIENCE

Plant floor operators and managers, system administrators, system integrators, and other individuals who use InTouch HMI in manufacturing processes.

PREREQUISITES

• Completion of the Introduction to InTouch HMI Product Tutorial
• Manufacturing Industry Experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
• Familiarity with Networking

If your plans change and you cannot attend as scheduled, be sure to notify us as soon as possible. **Tuition charges are refunded ONLY if cancelation notice is received by Wonderware PacWest at least two weeks prior to the first day of class.** If cancelation is made less than two weeks before the date of the class, a service charge of 50% of the tuition will be assessed. Those failing to attend the class without cancelation notice prior to the course, will be liable for the full tuition.
